Holds a master's degree in Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1991) and a PhD in Social History from the same institution (1997). Conducted post-doctoral research activities at the Department of Contemporary Humanities at the University of Alicante, Spain (2008). Currently, is a member of the editorial board of Cadernos Ceru - Center for Rural and Urban Studies - CERU, Research Support Center, University of São Paulo, a researcher at the Center for Rural and Urban Studies - CERU, and have been a mediator of the Migrations and Identities study group at the Center for Rural and Urban Studies - CERU, since 2015. They belong to the Scientific Committee of the Brazilian Association of Oral History (ABHO). Have experience in the fields of History and Anthropology, with an emphasis on Cultural Studies: identities, city, borders, migrations, memories, and life stories. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
