Andrea Limoeiro Carvalho

Adjunct Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), Collaborating Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Industrial Engineering (PEI) and Vice-Coordinator of the Undergraduate Course in Chemical Engineering at UFBA. She was a Professor of the Food Engineering course at UEFS for 11 years. Holds a degree in Food Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (2003), a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2006) and a PhD in Food Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2011). Has experience in coordinating and collaborating in research projects, with different funding and partnerships. Has co-supervised and supervises Master's Dissertations and the main research lines are the prospecting and production of biocompounds, the development of processes and products from raw materials of plant origin, and the development of processes for obtaining renewable fuels.
