Graduated in Biomedicine by the Federal University of Uberlândia (2012). Graduate Student at Program in Clinical Medicine, Ribeirão Preto Medical School, at the Virology Research Center of the University of São Paulo, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Luiz Tadeu Moraes Figueiredo (2015) and is currently a PhD student by the same program. Doing part of the PhD program at the University of Tennessee - Health Science Center from March to July 2018. Has experience in Microbiology, with emphasis in Virology, working mainly on the following topics: Drug Discovery, High Throughput Screening, High Content Screening, Emerging Arboviruses, Bunyavirus, Flavivirus, Diagnostic Methods, Viral Pathogenesis Studies, Molecular Biology, and Arbovirus Epidemiology.
