Mareliza Possa de Menezes

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences of Jaboticabal - Unesp. Completed a Professional Improvement Program in Veterinary Medicine and Public Health with an emphasis on small animal surgical clinics at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - Jaboticabal Campus. Earned a Masters degree and is currently in the fifth year of a PhD program at the same institution. In 2022, undertook a Research Internship Abroad (BEPE-FAPESP) at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Vice-president of a Organization for the Support and Development of Riverside Communities in the Amazon Rainforest (Núcleo de Apoio à População Ribeirinha da Amazônia-NAPRA). Works and develops projects within multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams, primarily in the areas of small animal surgical clinics and veterinary microbiology, with a focus on surgical infections, antimicrobial resistance, and One Health, though not limited to these areas.
