PhD in Health Sciences from the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, a Master's degree in General and Applied Biology from UNESP Botucatu, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the same institution. His academic trajectory has been dedicated to research in genetics and immunology, with early involvement in scientific research during his undergraduate studies. His master's research focused on the mechanisms of the innate immune system, which was further expanded during his doctoral studies to encompass chronic inflammatory diseases. Throughout his academic career, he has developed expertise in cell culture techniques, immunological analyses, multiparametric cytometry, and bioinformatics. Beyond his principal research projects, he has engaged in interdisciplinary studies, most notably his recent investigation into the impact of nature exposure on human immune system function. He is currently a member of the Nature and Health research group at the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, under the leadership of Professor Lis Leão. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
