He holds a degree in Social Sciences (Bachelor and Licentiate) from the University of São Paulo (1995). He holds a Master's (1998) and Doctorate (2006) in Political Science from the University of São Paulo, Associate Professor in Theory of International Relations in Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (2019) acting mainly on the following themes: Political Thought and Relations International. He was a Scholarship and Visiting Researcher at IPEA in the Project "The Role of Defense in the International Insertion of Brazil" with the research "The International Division of Labor in the area of Security from the perspective of critical theory in the Post-Cold War" (2011). Former Collaborator Professor in Political Science Post-Graduation Programme at IFCH-UNICAMP from 2013 to 2019. He is an Associate Professor (MS 5-1) of the Department of Political and Economic Sciences and of the Graduate Program in Social Sciences of the Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences of the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP - Marília). subjects "Theory of International Relations I", "Theory of International Relations II", "Contemporary Strategic Questions I", "Contemporary Strategic Questions II". He teaches the disciplines "Theory of International Relations I" and "International Politics" in the International Relations course at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the State University of São Paulo "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP-Franca) as a visiting professor in the Department of International Relations , where he coordinates the Asia Study Group. He is a researcher in the groups "Democracy, Military and Military Left", "Culture and Gender" and NEOM - Nucleus of Marxian Ontology Studies -, all from UNESP. He is deputy head of the Department of Political and Economic Sciences (DCPE) of the Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences (FFC) of Unesp de Marília. He is responsible editor of the Revista Praxis e Hegemonia Popular, of the International Gramsci Society Brasil (IGS Brasil). He is a researcher and one of the coordinators of the Interinstitutional Research Group "Political Thinking Laboratory" (PEPOL). He is a member of the Institute of Economic and International Studies (IEEI) of Unesp. He is one of the coordinators of the Research Group "Marxism, Politics, State and International Relations". He was a CNPq Senior Postdoctoral fellow (2014-2015), with the research project "Cox and the critical theory of international relations: eclecticism or coherence?", Developed within the scope of Unicamp's Institute of Economics.
