Chemical engineer, School of Engineering of Lorena - EEL/USP (2008). Previous experience in the chemical and aeronautical industries (2006-2012), acting as technical responsible and on the development of aeronautical certification projects (Brazil and USA). M.Sc. in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering (Materials and Manufacturing Processes) by the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (2012). Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering by the Federal University of São Paulo - ICT/UNIFESP (2016). Member of the Thermal Spray Society (TSS). Currently working as Postdoctoral Associate at the Center for Thermal Spray Research, State University of New York at Stony Brook. Main research areas include Materials Engineering, Surface Engineering and Plasma Technologies, with emphasis on Plasma Spray, Characterization of thermal and environmental barrier coatings (corrosion and oxidation) and functional coatings, mechanical, thermal properties, corrosion and oxidation resistance.
