Lucas Polo da Fonseca

Started my research career in my first year as an undergraduate student of chemistry, on 2012, at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in São Paulo/Brazil. After graduation in chemistry, I conducted my Ph.D. studies at the same university, in the group of professor Maria Isabel Felisberti. Currently, I hold a position as a post-doctoral researcher with funding from the Marie-Slodowska Curie Actions at the University of the Basque Country in the Basque Country/Spain, under the supervision of Professor Haritz Sardon.Highly interested in: Polymers and polymeric materials; Surface chemistry; Controlled polymerization; Materials for biomedical applications; Chemical modification platforms. Have expertise in:Polymer synthesis, functionalization, and characterization; Phase behavior of polymer solutions, blends, and copolymers; Colloid preparation and characterization; Organic materials structure-property relationship; Surface chemistry.
