Birthplace: Brazil

I am a Bachelor of Science with major in Computer Sciente from University of Sao Paulo (USP), Brazil. From 2012 to 2014 I worked as an undergraduate researcher at the Laboratory of Computing Applied to Education and Advanced Social Technology (CAEd, part of the Software Engineering Laboratory - LabES), receiving a research grant by the Foundation for Research Support of Sao Paulo (FAPESP) from 2013 to 2014. From August 2014 to August 2015 I was a grantee of the Science without Boarders program, financed by the Brazilian government. As part of the program, I moved to the United States and studied for two semesters at Indiana University in Bloomington and worked as an intern at the Carnegie Mellon University's Human-Computer Interaction Institute. Once back to Brazil, I started working on my Graduation Thesis and a new research project related to Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis at the Laboratory of Computational Intelligence (LabIC) from the ICMC, which resulted in my first publication.
