He graduated from the Federal Technical School of São Paulo (now IFSP) in Electronics (19871990), and later chose Business Administration at FGV (full scholarship), despite being admitted to Medicine at UNESP and Mathematics at UNICAMP in 1991. He holds a bachelors (1996), masters (2003), and Ph.D. (2008) in Public Administration and Government from FGV-EAESP.He was the first elected president of FENEAD (19951996), where he created the FENEAD Award for social projects. He also founded and led the Public Jr. Consulting at FGV (19941995). In 1999, he completed a specialization in Leadership for the Third Sector (Kellogg Foundation/GIFE), with exchanges in Latin America and the U.S. In the early 1990s, he contributed to developing Brazils National Course Exam (now ENADE). As coordinator of the São Paulo Volunteer Center (19981999), he launched the Trote Cidadão campaign against hazing violence, mobilizing 100,000 students.He is President of ANGRAD (20232025), an honorary member of ABCA, and a professor at FEI University Center. Since 2013, he has been a permanent member of FEIs Graduate Program in Administration. He was Head of the Administration Department and Undergraduate Coordinator (20202023) and Vice President of ANGRAD (20162017, 20202022).As Editor of the RAEP journal (Qualis A3) during 20182019 and 20202023, he raised the journal from 86th to 1st in the SPELL (ANPAD) ranking in 2021. He helped draft Brazils updated National Curriculum Guidelines for Administration (20182020).Author of over 30 peer-reviewed articles and books on education, he also created and coordinated the ANGRAD Award, which recognizes innovative teaching practices in Administration. Invited by EQUAA, he supported its international expansion in Latin America as academic advisor.Since 2007, he has led the Social Entrepreneurship track at SEMEAD (FEA-USP) and is a scientific advisor for FAPESPs PIPE program. He served on the Entrepreneur-Friendly Institution committee (MEC-SESU, MDIC, ANGRAD, FGV, CFC, SEBRAE) and advised MEC-SESU on entrepreneurial education.He is a researcher at the Global Studies Center (CEG-UAb), Universidade Aberta, Portugal, working on Entrepreneurship and Global Citizenship. He served on the Curriculum Committee for FEI-SP (20182020, 20242025), IFSPs Campus Council (20182019), and IFSPs CONSUP (20212023).Since 2019, he has been a Council Member of the São Paulo Entrepreneurs Forum. In collaboration with FEA-USP researchers, he supports public school teachers through training in active learning.His research focuses on Entrepreneurship, Social and Inclusive Business, and Teaching and Learning in Administration.
