Birthplace: Brazil

I hold a degree in Physics (2010) from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), in Mathematics (2021) and in Pedagogy (2022) from Universidade Metropolitana de Santos (UNIMES). I earned my MSc (2013) and PhD (2016) in Material Science and Technology from UNESP. During my PhD, I undertook a research internship (2016) at the Madrid Institute for Advanced Studies in Nanoscience (IMDEA-Nanoscience, Spain). I also completed postdoctoral research at the Gleb Wataghin Institute of Physics (IFGW/UNICAMP) and in the Department of Materials Science and Nanoengineering at Rice University in Houston, TX, USA. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Meteorology at the Faculty of Sciences, Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), Bauru campus. My research expertise includes computational modeling and simulation of materials, with a focus on the following topics: electronic structure and engineering of electronic levels in organic and inorganic materials, and the mechanical and thermal properties of both organic and inorganic materials.
