Saulo Duarte Ozelin

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of Franca (2014), Master in Sciences from the University of Franca (2018) and PhD in Sciences from the University of Franca (2022). worked on an Innovative Research Project in Small Businesses (PIPE) in the Technical Training modality by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and served as a CNPq Industrial Technological Development scholarship holder (2013-2016). Currently works as PhD/Researcher at BioSmart Nanotechnology, Araraquara, SP, and works on a Corporate Post-Doctorate Project (PDI) FAPESP/CNPq in partnership with the School of Animal Science and Food Engineering of the University of São Paulo (FZEA/USP), Pirassununga Campus, where he develops a project aimed at the in vitro osteogenic activity of alumina/zirconia bioceramic scaffolds coated with biopolymers. He has experience in the following areas: Toxicological genetics; 2D and 3D cell culture; in vitro and in vivo safety tests; wound healing models; synthesis and physicochemical characterization of polymers and bioplastics; 3D printing of biomaterials. He works mainly on the following topics: evaluation of the cytotoxic and genotoxic activities of compounds extracted from natural products, isolated and synthetic substances; micronucleus test in mammalian cells in vitro and in vivo; protein analysis by western blot in animal tissues and cell cultures; in vitro and in vivo healing models; preparation of bioplastics and biodressings from agroindustry by-products; 3D printing of bioceramic materials for bone regeneration.
