Postdoctoral researcher at the Mycology Laboratory of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences -USP, São Paulo. PhD in Infectious and Parasitic Diseases by the Faculty of Medicine (FAMED) at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), Brazil. She has a postdoctoral degree in genomic epidemiology of fungal pathogens, including Candida spp., Trichophyton indotineae, azole-resistant Aspergilus fumigatus and Sporothrix spp, carried out with the Mycotic Diseases Branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (MDB/CDC), Atlanta, USA. She has experience in Applied Immunology and Bioinformatics, specifically in the following topics: relationship host-parasite in diabetic mice during invasive dermatophytosis; parasite-host relationship in different strains of mice during pulmonary and disseminated mucormycosis, tests of crude extracts using cell culture and in vitro models of inflammatory response, as well as evaluation of crude extracts and drugs on the activity of macrophages against Leishmania chagasi. Identification of biomarkers in patients with pulmonary sequelae of Paracoccidioidomycosis, and also investigation of molecular mechanisms of fibrogenesis in a murine experimental model using serum and tissue proteomics and bioinformatics analysis.
