Leticia worked at the Institute for Research in Tropical Fruit as Head of Industry and project manager. She was also a Cleaner Production international consultant and former coordinator of the Cleaner Production National Network for agribusiness in a joint project with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Letícia has conducted more than 40 evaluations of Cleaner Production in food processing industries. Her main research is in the areas of energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies, and liquid and solid wastes management of agribusiness. She authored many publications in international journals and book chapters, and was awarded three times by the Ministry of Agriculture. Currently she expanded her research to the study of sustainable agro-food supply chains using emergy synthesis as post doctoral supported by FAPESP in UNIP. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
