PhD in Gerontology from the School of Medical Sciences at the University of Campinas (FCM/Unicamp), with a doctoral research internship at the Center on Aging and Health, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Master of Science with an emphasis in Gerontology from the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities at the University of São Paulo (EACH-USP) (2019). Bachelors degree in Gerontology from EACH-USP (2014). Has research experience in basic neuroscience, focusing on memory, Alzheimers disease, and intracellular mechanisms associated with aging. Completed undergraduate research in Pharmacology, with an emphasis on Neuropsychopharmacology, in laboratories at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Santa Casa de São Paulo and at EACH-USP, through the Neuropharmacology of Aging Laboratory (LaNE) project. Worked as a volunteer Gerontologist in the Older Adults Program at the Institute of Psychiatry of the Hospital das Clínicas, School of Medicine, University of São Paulo (IPq-HCFMUSP) in 2015. Since 2024, member of the Global Frailty Network and collaborator on the Brazilian Elderly Frailty Study (FIBRA) ("Effects of health, personality, and psychological well-being variables on frailty, death, and cognitive decline in adults aged 80 years and older"). Her work focuses on topics such as frailty, sarcopenia, anorexia of aging, cognition, mental health, and healthy aging, integrating clinical and translational research methodologies.
