Degree in Agricultural Engineering from the São Paulo State University (Unesp), School of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences (FCAV), Jaboticabal Campus. He holds a master's and doctorate in Agronomy (Plant Production) from the same institution. He teaches Agronomy and Animal Science at Fazu (Uberaba, Minas Gerais) and coordinates postgraduate courses in Agronomy. He works on projects related to agricultural production systems, cover crop use, integrated systems, sustainable fertilizer management, productivity estimation, and agronomic and qualitative performance of legumes, cereals, and coffee.
