She holds a Bachelor's and a Teaching Degree in Languages and Literature, with a focus on Portuguese and Spanish, from the University of São Paulo (USP). During her undergraduate studies, she completed three academic exchange programs: to Salamanca (Spain, 2009), Buenos Aires (Argentina, 2010), and Guadalajara (Mexico, 2012). She earned her Masters degree in Literature through the Spanish Language and Spanish and Spanish-American Literatures program at FFLCH-USP, with funding from FAPESP. She later completed her PhD in the same program, including a research stay at NOVA University Lisbon. Her teaching degree was officially recognized by the University of Porto in 2021, with a final grade of 17/20. She is currently a visiting lecturer at UNAM Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, through the Guimarães Rosa Lectureship Program of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE-BR). She is a member of the "Laboratório de Estudios del Futuro" (Future Laboratory), a research group based at the University of Alcalá (Spain), and of the "Observatório do Futuro" (Future Observatory), based at PUC-SP. Her areas of expertise include: catastrophe narratives, futurities, the Anthropocene, transmediality, film and television studies, teacher training, and literary and educational material editing and translation.
