Luis Mauro Sa Martino

He graduated in Communications at Casper Libero Media College in 1998. He received his Master (2001) and Ph.D. (2004) from the Pontifical Catholic University in Sao Paulo. He was researcher at the University of East Anglia (2008).Currently he is Professor at Casper Libero Media College, where he is also the publisher of Communicare, the college Academic Journal. He is researcher at the Religion Society Research Group at the Pontifical Catholic University in Sao Paulo. He also teaches at Cantareira College.He is the author of "Media and Symbolic Power" (Paulus, 2003), "The 'habitus' in Communication" (Paulus, 2004), "Communication: cultural exchange" (Paulus, 2005) and "Communication Aesthetics" (Vozes, 2007).His research interests include Communication and Mass Media Theory and Research, Education, Sociology of Religion and Sociology of Knowledge.
