Verônica Aydos Thode

Is a professor at the Botany Departmento of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil. Is a professor and supervisor in the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Botânica da UFRGS. Post-doctoral Fellow at the Departamento de Botânica da Universidade de São Paulo, with internship in the Jardín Botánico de Madrid, Madrid, Espanha. Concluded Masters and PhD degree at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, at the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Botânica, with interniship abroad in the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. Has a Biology degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul. Has interest in Plant Systematics, Botany, Taxonomy, Molecular Phylogeny, Phylogenomics, Evolution, and Biogeography.
