Associate Professor at the Faculty of Nutrition (FANUT) of Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT). Permanent faculty member of the Postgraduate Programs in Nutrition, Food, and Metabolism (PPGNAM - master's) and Tropical Agriculture (PPGAT - master's and doctoral). Coordinator of the extension/service project CENTROLAB - Food Analysis Services of the Midwest. Supervisor of the Bioactive Compounds Laboratory (LCB/UFMT) and Food Analysis Laboratory at FANUT/UFMT. Ph.D. (2016) and Master's (2013) in Food Science and Technology from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture at the University of São Paulo (ESALQ/USP). Food Engineer from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (2010). Guides students in scientific initiation, final projects, master's, and doctoral theses related to food chemistry, food analysis, and bioactive compounds. Responsible for the disciplines of Bromatology (undergraduate) and Advanced Food Biochemistry (postgraduate). Research lines include characterization of unconventional sources of bioactive compounds, analysis of bioactive compounds, waste reuse, bioaccessibility of bioactive compounds, and neuroprotective effects of bioactive compounds.
