He is Ph.D. and Associate Professor at UNICAMP (University of Campinas). Professor in the Graduate Program in Education, in the line "Education and cultural history"; and in the Graduate Program in Physical Education, in the area "Physical Education and Society". He is the leader of the research group Corpo e Educação, researcher of the Memória, group of the Faculty of Education. He was the Associate Coordinator of the Unicamp Memory Center (CMU). He is the Editor of the journal Resgate (CMU), and the Associate Editor of the journal Pro-posições.
