Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry of São Paulo State University (UNESP), with an emphasis in Analytical Chemistry. Completed research internships at Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic) during the masters program and at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (France) during a doctoral sandwich program. Worked as a researcher at the University of Central Florida (Orlando, USA), developing DNA-based electrochemical sensors for the diagnosis of various diseases. Research focuses on electroanalytical sensors and biosensors, with emphasis on electrode modification for the development of immunosensors, genosensors, and biomimetic sensors using molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs).
