He holds a bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree in Mathematics from the State University of Campinas (2011-2021), with a research internship at the University of Edinburgh (09/2019 - 09/2020). Additionally, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Université de Bourgogne (12/2021-12/2022) and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Mathematics of USP (03/2023 - present). Over the years, he has developed his research in algebraic geometry and representation theory, focusing on derived categories, relative homological algebra, Bridgeland stability conditions, and instanton sheaves. The objective of this project is to study the article from Schmidt and the one from Gallardo, Huerta e Schmidt, to develop new perspectives towards the wall-crossing behavior on moduli spaces of sheaves on curves in P^3. For that it will be necessary to study the concept of Bridgeland stability, first studied as a concept of stability for triangulated categories.
The main objective of this project is to provide a great background on Algebraic Geometry to the beneficiary, beginning with classical arguments and working towards modern topics. Thanks to this approach, the beneficiary will be ready for a PhD in this field having already studied the techniques and basic results, and could begin his PhD studying an original research argument.
