Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Master's degree in Psychiatric Nursing and PhD in Psychiatric Nursing (2017) from the Ribeirão Preto School of Nursing at the University of São Paulo (EERP-USP), which received a doctoral scholarship from the São Paulo State Research Support Foundation Paulo (FAPESP). Internship at the Center for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto, Canada under the tutelage of Professor Jürgen Rehm (one of the leading research experts on alcohol use and abuse). In 2017, an internship at the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization, in Washington/DC, USA, for 4 months in human resources for health and 2 months in the area of mental health, specifically focused on aspects related to alcohol use and abuse. He took the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research course in 2015 at Harvard Medical School and is a Senior Teaching Assistant on the same course. He completed a postdoctoral degree with support from FAPESP (Grant number: 20/08512-4) linked to the grant Fapesp 17/12943-8 "The inhibition deficit as a marker of neuroplasticity in rehabilitation" leaded by Professor Felipe Fregni (Harvard Medical School).
