Beatriz de Carvalho Pato Vila

PhD in Veterinary Sciences with a focus on veterinary cardiology from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) - Curitiba, under the guidance of Prof. Marlos Gonçalves Sousa. Participated in the translation of the book "Electrocardiography of Dogs and Cats - Diagnosis of Arrhythmias" by the authors Santilli R, Moise NS, Pariaut R, and Perego M. Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine with an emphasis on veterinary cardiology from the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences (FCAV), Jaboticabal campus, under the guidance of Prof. Marlos G.S., and co-supervised by Prof. Aparecido Antonio Camacho. Residency in the area of #8203;#8203;small animal clinical medicine at the Veterinary Hospital "Governador Laudo Natel" of UNESP Jaboticabal, under the guidance of Prof. A. A. Camacho. He worked as a veterinary cardiology assistant at Cornell University Hospital for Animals in 2017 (Visiting Veterinarian). He graduated in veterinary medicine from UNESP Jaboticabal. He has a scientific initiation in the area of #8203;#8203;Animal Pathology, with an emphasis on squamous cell carcinoma in dogs and cats and immunohistochemistry of p53 and HER2. He was an intern and director of veterinary medicine projects at Consultoria Agropecuária Júnior (CAP Jr.). He completed training in the areas of veterinary pathology, clinical pathology, clinic, surgery, hospitalization, cardiology and oncology of small animals; and equine clinic and surgery. He completed a curricular internship in the area of #8203;#8203;small animal medical clinic at UNESP Jaboticabal, UFPR, UNESP Botucatu and University of São Paulo (USP). She has worked as a private practitioner in a medical clinic and as a self-employed veterinary cardiologist, and also at the Badilab diagnostic center and the Cão Q'Late veterinary clinic in São Paulo; and also at the Clinivet veterinary hospital in Curitiba. She is a co-owner of the mobile cardiology care company Cardio Pet Care, which operates in Curitiba and the surrounding region. She is a member of the Brazilian Society of Veterinary Cardiology (SBCV). She gives lectures and classes at undergraduate and graduate levels. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
