Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto (FFLCRP - USP) and graduated in Letters from Faculdade Interativa COC. Lívea Godoy has a master's degree from the Postgraduate Program in Psychobiology at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (2014) and a PhD from the Postgraduate Program in Physiology at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo. São Paulo (2019). She was a Visiting Researcher at the Cognitive Linguistics Psychological Sciences Department at Brown University (2017-2018). She was a substitute professor at the Federal University of Alfenas-UNIFAL (2019-2020). She completed a post-doctorate at the Department of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto at the University of São Paulo (2022-2024). She remains as a visiting researcher at the Translational Neuropsychiatry Unit at Aarhus University (Denmark) (2023-). She completed an internship at the Universidade del País Vasco (2024). She has experience with animal models of epilepsy, depression and anxiety. Her main project is to investigate physiological processes and the influence of stress hormones in brain regions involved with cognitive and emotional processing.
