Career developed in research and innovation with a focus on the production of biofuels and renewable chemicals from plant biomass. Over 8 years of experience in bioenergy businesses and the development and management of scientific projects in biotechnology research with emphasis on sugarcane growth and production, genetic manipulation of microorganisms and development and optimization of bioprocesses. Experience in team leadership, strategic planning and new business development, as well as in the negotiation, prospection and the licensing of new technologies. Experience in handling proposals for fundraising for R&D and interactions with funding agencies (BNDES/ Finep/ CNPq/ FAPESP). Support for the development of climate changes public policies (RenovaBio and Biofuture Platform) through direct interactions with the Ministries and Governmental agencies.
