She holds a degree in Biotechnology from the Federal University of São Carlos (2013) and a PhD in Biosciences and Technology of Bioactive Products from Unicamp (2018), with a sandwich period at the Université de Lausanne, Switzerland (2017). She has experience in the areas of Cell Culture, Alternative Methods, In vitro Methods of Efficacy and Safety, Toxicology, Pre-Efficacy Assays of Dermocosmetics, Protein Expression and Purification, Molecular Biology and Science Communication. She has worked as a Technological Development Specialist at the National Laboratory of Biosciences (LNBio) at CNPEM, and as a Product Safety Researcher (environmental area) at Natura Cosméticos. She currently works as an Occupational Toxicologist. She voluntarily participates in a science communication group called Profissão Biotec, where she was editor and proofreader of the digital magazine Blog do Profissão Biotec, and also produces content on science communication and careers in biotechnology.
