Leonardo Campos Zanelatto

Bachelor in Biomedicine (2010) and Master in Genetics and Molecular Biology (2013) from the State University of Londrina (UEL), specialization in Clinical Hematology and Blood Bank (2017) from the Academy of Science and Technology (AC&T), Doctorate in Clinical Oncology , Stem Cells and Cell Therapy from the University of São Paulo (USP- Ribeirão Preto, 2019) and a second specialization in Clinical and Toxicological Analysis (2021) from the Centro Universitário São Camilo. Over ten years of experience and knowledge in the areas of Genetics and Molecular Biology, Clinical Analysis, Hematology, Blood Bank and Cell Therapy. Extensive experience in clinical analysis laboratories (working both in routine and emergency diagnostic services), in blood banks (working in cell therapy, cryobiology and bone marrow transplantation), in genomic medicine (laboratory diagnosis and prognosis by biological techniques molecular) and in research laboratories, working with cell culture with an emphasis on onco-hematology, cell therapy, genomic medicine and cancer biology. Participation in audits, adequacy of internal and external quality controls, analysis of statistical data and indicators, preparation of documents (POPs) and reports. Currently working at the Genomic Medicine Center (CMG) of the Hospital das Clinicas de Ribeirão Preto (HCRP / FMRP-USP), responsible for molecular biology diagnostic tests using techniques such as nucleic acid extraction, real-time PCR, fragment analysis, MLPA , DNA sequencing (Sanger) and NGS, serving the medical genetics, hematology and rare diseases sectors, in addition to assisting in research projects.
