I graduated in Biology from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP); Master's (2009) and Ph.D. (2013) in Cell and Structural Biology at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). I completed my postdoctoral studies (2013-2016) at Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) - Botucatu, SP. Currently, I hold the position of Professor at the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG). I am affiliated with the graduate programs in Biociências Aplicadas à Saúde (UNIFAL-MG), Aquaculture (CAUNESP - UNESP), and Physiology (IB- USP). My expertise lies in Morphology, with a focus on Cellular Biology, Embryology, Gonadal Differentiation of Teleosts, Reproductive Biology, and Toxicology of Aquatic Animals. I am responsible for the Laboratory of Experimental Ichthyology (LIEX - UNIFAL-MG), conducting research in environmental and human health, utilizing zebrafish as a model organism.
