Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the Veterinary School of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2009), Master's degree in Investigative Pathology at the Medical School of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2013), specialty in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Qualittas Institute (2015), and PhD in Clinical Veterinary Medicine at the Veterinary School of the State University of São Paulo, Jaboticabal Campus. Between 2016 and 2021, completed post-doctoral training as a Research Fellow in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona, USA, focusing on multiple myeloma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. She worked as an Adjunct Professor level I of the Post-Graduate Program of Health Sciences of the Faculdade de Ciências Médicas de Minas Gerais (Medical Science Collage of Minas Gerais) in 2022. Currently, she works as a Scientific Associate IV at the Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology University Health Network Princess Margaret Cancer Center in Toronto, Canada, in addition to working as a research collaborator of the Mayo Clinic, and collaborate with the "Human, Animal, and Experimental Mammary Gland Pathology" research project of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) at the Federal University of Minas Gerais.
