Professor of Geography and History Didactics at UNAM and Research Methodology at UVA's Research Center in Mexico. Holds degrees in Law and Pedagogy, with Master's and PhD in Education from Unicamp. Completed research stays at FLACSO Buenos Aires (Master's) and EHESS Paris (sandwich doctorate). Conducted postdoctoral research in Sociology of Education at Unicamp and Social Sciences at École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay. Participated in Roger Chartier's seminar at Collège de France and the Lille Summer School on Quantitative Methods in Social Sciences, jointly organized by Université de Lille and SciencesPo. Active researcher in the Research Group on Education, Institutions and Inequality at Unicamp and in CNPq-funded collaborative projects at IFSP and UERJ. Former member of the Groupe de Réflexion sur le Brésil Contemporain and the Laboratoire Institutions et Dynamiques Historiques de l'Économie et de la Société, while also contributing to a FAPESP Thematic Project in Educational Foundations. Research interests combine hybrid methodological approaches to investigate political and legal power, with emphasis on educational, cultural, and institutional dynamics of ruling groups, examining how bureaucratic elites exercise, legitimize, and maintain authority.
