Bachelor and Licensed from the School of Nursing at the University of São Paulo; Specialist in Oncology. Master and Doctor of Science. Post-Doctorate at the Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing at the USP School of Nursing. Specialist in Health Management by Centro Universitário SENAC and Technologist in Data Sciences. He was a member of the CNPq research group "Pain, symptom control and palliative care" between 2005 and 2011 and, since 2005, he has been a member of the CNPq research group "The problem of arterial hypertension". He is a Full Technologist at the Ministry of Health, working at the Cancer Hospital III of the José Alencar Gomes da Silva National Cancer Institute (INCA/MS), where he has worked in a clinical inpatient unit, emergency care service, continuing education service and Commission of Nursing Ethics. He is currently working at the Chemotherapy Center of the same unit, where he develops Assistance, Teaching and Research activities and makes up the Faculty and Preceptors of the Multidisciplinary Residency in Oncology. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Oncology at COREN-RJ. He works in the area of Medical-Surgical Nursing, with an emphasis on Clinical Oncology, Epidemiology, Chronic Noncommunicable Diseases, Cardiovascular Risk, Arterial Hypertension and Data Sciences / Big Data. In his Lattes curriculum, the most frequent terms in the context of scientific, technological and artistic-cultural production are: Palliative Care, Pain, Cancer, Cardiovascular Risk Factors and Arterial Hypertension.
