The main purpose of this research project is to determine the behavior of the roots of some types of trinomial equations that appear in certain financial mathematics problems. In addition, we intend to limit the regions of the complex plane which are located these roots.
This research project proposes the study of the properties of orthogonal polynomials on the real line, focusing on the behavior of its zeros.
