The study aims to quantify sedation and analgesia of morphine in tegu (Salvator merianae). Ten male and female young tegus weighing between 100 and 500gr will be submitted to three treatments: G10 - 10mg/kg of morphine by intramuscular route (IM); G20 - 20mg/kg of morphine IM, and G0 - which will receive 0.5 mL of saline solution IM.
