Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo, Barretos Campus. She has a master's and doctorate in Health Sciences with an emphasis on Oncology from the Barretos Cancer Hospital Postgraduate Program in the area of molecular genetics. She completed a postdoctoral degree at the National Oncological Care Support Program (PRONON) to identify biomarkers for tracking and early detection of tumors in the context of the Unified Health System (SUS). She is currently carrying out a post-doctorate at the Barretos Cancer Hospital with a FAPESP grant for the identification and validation of predictive biomarkers and response mediators in treatment with cisplatin and radiotherapy in patients with cervical cancer. She has experience in the area of Molecular Genetics and Cellular Biology, working mainly with large-scale techniques for evaluating gene expression and microRNAs in cancer, in addition to functional analysis of transcripts.
