Currently, I am a researcher at the Center for Alcohol and Drug Research, Aarhus University (Denmark). My research explores individual and situational factors that contribute to the development and maintenance of cannabis#8208;related disorders. I employ experience sampling methods to investigate the roles of emotion dysregulation, fluctuations in sleep patterns, and affective dynamics in cannabis use. From 2019 to 2021, I completed a masters degree in Psychobiology (Graduate Program in Psychobiology, Escola Paulista de Medicina UNIFESP), integrating the Center for Research on Health and Substance Use (NEPSIS). My thesis was the first Brazilian study to implement the Mindfulness#8208;Based Relapse Prevention Protocol in therapeutic communities, assessing its effects on impulsivity among individuals with substance use disorders.Between 2012 and 2015, I was a PIBIC research fellow at the Cognitive and Social Neuroscience Laboratory of Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (UPM#8208;SP), where I investigated the affective impacts and neurobiological mechanisms of social exclusion pain, as well as emotion regulation strategies mediated by the prefrontal cortex.I hold a bachelors degree in Psychology (UPM#8208;SP, 2015) and a specialization in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CTC#8208;Veda).I am a member of organizations dedicated to advancing evidence#8208;based drug prevention and treatment: American Psychological Association (APA), Society for the Study of Addiction (SSA), International Network on Brief Interventions for Alcohol and Other Drugs (INEBRIA), and Brazilian Association of Evidence#8208;Based Psychology (ABPBE#8208;BR).
