Carlos Alexandre Habitante

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Human Motricity (1997) and Master's Degree in Physiological Sciences (2000) from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar); PhD in Sciences from the Federal University of São Paulo - UNIFESP/EPM (2004). He served as Director of the Institute of Biological and Health Sciences of the Araguaia University Campus / UFMT in the four-year period 2013/2017. Evaluator of the Sinaes System of the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (INEP/MEC) since 2006, Associate Professor at the Araguaia University Campus - Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT). He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Human Physiology and Physical Education with an emphasis on Health, working mainly on the following topics: physical exercise, metabolism, obesity, diabetes and aging. He coordinated 23 research, extension and teaching projects in the health area. He has published 30 full articles in national and international journals and 4 book chapters.
