Professor at the Department of Hydrobiology at the Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar), member of the Postgraduate Program in Ecology and Natural Resources (PPGERN) at UFSCar and at the Postgraduate in Ecology of Continental Aquatic Environments (PEA) from the Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM). Head of the Laboratory of Microbial Biodiversity and Processes (LBPM) develops research on the ecology, biotic interactions, structure and functions of the aquatic microbiome.
