He holds a degree in Chemistry, a master's in Agrochemistry and Agrobiochemistry from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (USP-IQSC), with an emphasis on Physical Chemistry. Additionally, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of São Paulo (USP). He has extensive experience in the areas of catalysis, photocatalysis, adsorption, and environmental chemistry. Currently, he serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). From 2021 to 2024, he served as the Research Coordinator of the Department of Chemical Engineering and was a full member of the Research Council (CoPq) at UFSCar. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
