Responsible for the Periodontology curriculum components and for the Supervised Internship in Integrated Clinical Dentistry at USF.Postdoctoral Researcher in the Periodontology Department at the School of Dentistry, University of São Paulo (FOUSP). Holds a PhD in Dental Sciences with a concentration in Periodontology from the University of São Paulo (FOUSP), and a specialist degree in Implantology from FUNDECTO/FFO. Graduated in Dentistry from the University of São Paulo School of Dentistry.Former scholarship holder of the PET-Health Program by the Brazilian Ministries of Health and Education (20102012). Participated in undergraduate research in the Department of Stomatology, Periodontology Discipline at FOUSP (20122015), with a Scientific Initiation Scholarship (PIBIC) funded by CNPq (08/201207/2013) and later by FAPESP (11/201411/2015). Completed a clinical internship at the Special Care Patients Center (08/201409/2015).Has experience in Dentistry, with emphasis on Periodontology, Implantology, and Oral Rehabilitation. His research focuses on the role of Protease-Activated Receptor 2 (PAR2) in periodontal tissue destruction, as well as on host response determinants and modifiers in periodontal inflammatory processes.Previously served as Assistant Professor I at Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul, teaching courses in Oral Rehabilitation, Integrated Dentistry for Adults and the Elderly, Public Health in Dentistry, Supervised Clinical Internship III (working in the Integrated Clinical Dentistry and Special Care Patients Clinics), and was also responsible for the Implantology course at the same institution from 2020 until January 2022.
