Raul Celistrino Teixeira

I have got a PhD degree from University Paris VI - Pierre et Marie Curie, while working in the group of Serge Haroche and Michel Brune on microwave spectroscopy of strongly interacting Rydberg atoms. After I did a post-doc at the University of São Paulo (IFSC-USP), in the group of Phgilippe Courteille, following two main research lines: coherence effects on the interaction between cold atoms and coherent optical radiation; and the construction of an atomic gravimeter for continous measurement acquisition. I'm currently associate professor at Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar), working on light diffusion on cold atoms samples. I have experience in Physics, focusing on experimental Atomic and Molecular Physics; cold atoms and Bose-Einstein condensation; Rydberg atoms; interaction between radiation and matter; microwave spectroscopy of atomic transitions; strongly-interacting atoms.
