Graduated in Physiotherapy from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1999), master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universidade do Vale do Paraíba (2001) and doctorate in Biomedical Engineering from Universidade do Vale do Paraíba (2009). She is currently professor at the Doctoral and Master's Program in Rehabilitation Sciences at Universidade Nove de Julho and professor at medical course at Nove de Julho University. He has experience in the field of Physiotherapy, with an emphasis on Neurological Physiotherapy, acting mainly on the following themes: Stroke, geriatrics, Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS), cardiorespiratory, International Classification of Functionality (ICF), Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES).
