I am a Ph.D. candidate in Neuroscience and Cognition at the Federal University of ABC, having completed my master's degree in the same field in 2018. I graduated in Biomedicine from the Methodist University of São Paulo in 2015.My research projects focus on the pathophysiology and potential therapies for perinatal asphyxia, utilizing a neonatal anoxia model in rodents. My work in the field of Neurobiology involves a multidisciplinary approach, employing histological, cellular, behavioral, and electrophysiological techniques. During my master's, I investigated the impact of perinatal asphyxia on the hippocampal inhibitory system and its implications for spatial memory. Currently, my focus is on studying the potential of photobiomodulation in asphyxia and changes in the myelination process in rodents exposed to perinatal asphyxia and sepsis.This research aims to contribute to significant advances in the understanding and treatment of challenging neonatal conditions.
