Lucas Alexandre Pires

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Anthropology and Sociology from the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar and a Degree in Sociology from FCLAr - UNESP, a Master's Degree in Social Anthropology from the Graduate Program in Social Anthropology (PPGAS) - UFSCar with a FAPESP scholarship and a PhD in Education from the Graduate Program in Education (PPGEdu) - USP Ribeirão Preto with a CAPES -DS scholarship. I was a member of the Editorial Board of R@U - Anthropology Journal of UFSCar, of the Study Group in Sociology of Law and Environmental Rights - USP Ribeirão Preto, of the Mediations Group - Research in Performance - USP Ribeirão Preto, and I am a member of LEPINJE: Laboratory of Studies and Research on Childhood, Youth and Education - FFCLRP USP. During my undergraduate studies, I participated as a member of FATO - Junior Company of Social Sciences and as a volunteer in the projects of the Tutorial Education Program - PET of Social Sciences at Unesp in Marília, I was part of the Organizing Committee and worked as a scholarship teacher of History at the Popular Course at UFSCar. During my Master's degree, I worked as a tutor at LAPA - the Academic Production Laboratory at UFSCar and as a volunteer at GACC - the Support Group for Children with Cancer, linked to USP in Ribeirão Preto. During my PhD, I worked as a volunteer teacher of Sociology and Philosophy at the NAV Popular Course, as Coordinator and Teacher of Sociology and Philosophy at the CAP Quintino and Paiva II - FFCLRP-USP preparatory courses in Ribeirão Preto - places where I still work - and I offered mini-courses on developing research projects, reading and academic writing at the PPGEdu of FFCLRP-USP. I currently work as a content teacher for undergraduate and graduate courses at Faculdade Metropolitana de Ribeirão Preto. I have experience and interest in research related to the following topics: Social Sciences and Education; Youth, Culture and Democracy; Public Sphere and Citizenship; Gift and Reciprocity; Research Methods and Techniques in Human and Social Sciences.
