Postdoctoral researcher by the post-doctoral exchange program at Harvard Medical School/LNBio (National Biosciences Laboratory) part of CNPEM (National Center for Research in Energy and Materials), Ph.D in Sciences by the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) (2013), Master's degree in Medical Pathophysiology also from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) (2010) and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine from the Hermínio Ometto University Center (2005). Main areas of expertise: mass spectrometry-based proteomics, identification and quantitation of proteins in large scale, quantitative proteomics including TMT (Tandem Mass Tags) for relative and absolute quantitation, mitochondrial bioenergetics with analysis of electron transport chain complexes (ETC) and their responses to different stimuli applied to pathological situations and potential treatments, molecular pathways for mitochondrial DNA repair through mitochondrial bioenergetics, molecular biology and primary and commercial cell cultures approachs.
