Main areas of expertise: mass spectrometry-based proteomics, identification and quantitation of proteins in large scale, quantitative proteomics including TMT (Tandem Mass Tags) for relative and absolute quantitation, mitochondrial bioenergetics with analysis of electron transport chain complexes (ETC) and their responses to different stimuli applied to pathological situations and potential treatments, molecular pathways for mitochondrial DNA repair through mitochondrial bioenergetics, molecular biology and primary and commercial cell cultures approachs.
