I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Western Paraná (UNIOESTE/PR) and a Master's degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the State University of Londrina (UEL/PR). I completed my Ph.D. in Sciences, specializing in Genetics, at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (FMRP/USP), where I also conducted postdoctoral research funded by PNPD/CAPES. Currently, I am furthering my studies in DNA repair as a postdoctoral researcher at the DNA Repair Laboratory of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (ICB/USP), under the supervision of Dr. Carlos Frederico Martins Menck. Additionally, I am participated of an Research Internship (BEPE - Postdoctoral) at the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health (NCI/NIH), USA. I served as the second secretary of the Executive Board of the Brazilian Association of Mutagenesis and Environmental Genomics (MutaGen-Brasil) for the 2022-2024 term. I have experience in Genetics, focusing on Mutagenesis and investigating mechanisms of Cytotoxicity, Genotoxicity, Mutagenicity, and DNA Repair through in vitro assays, including 2D models and 3D tumoral spheroids. I also have expertise in Oncogenetics, Nutrigenomics, and Epigenetics. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
