I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the CAS-Centre for Excellence in Molecular Plant Sciences since April, 2019. My main research focuses on using organic synthesis and molecular biology tools to understand how plants synthesize specialized metabolites with medicinal interest. I got my PhD degree on December 2018 under supervision of Prof. Dr Ivone Carvalho and co-supervision of Prof. Dr Rob Field (John Innes Centre/UK) from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirao Preto - University of Sao Paulo (Brazil). During my PhD, I worked as one-year visiting PhD student at the John Innes Centre (Norwich/UK) under the supervision of Professor Rob Field. I got my master?s degree in Pharmacy at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Jan/2012-Jul/2014) under the supervision of Prof. Dr Lilian S. C. Bernardes and Prof. Dr Eloir P. Schenkel. I am qualified in Biochemistry with emphasis on clinical analysis by the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2011), where I also received my bachelor?s degree in Pharmacy (2010).
