Researcher at the Center for the Study of Violence at the University of São Paulo (NEV/USP). She holds a Master in Sociology and joined USPs Department of Sociology doctoral programme after being awarded a FAPESP full-scholarship. She has also been a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for Critical Race and Ethnic Studies at St. John's University between 2021-2022. Letícia has written on policing practices, police training, social disparities, and consequences of digital technology use.
